CherryMan Cherry Cream Cheese Candies


Makes 25-30 Candies
  • ½ tsp cherry syrup from CherryMan maraschino cherries jar
  • 3oz cream cheese
  • ¼ tsp almond extract
  • 2½ - 3c confectioners sugar 
  • Parchment paper
  • Food coloring (optional)


  1. In a small mixing bowl, add cream cheese, cherry syrup, almond extract and optional food coloring of your choice. Beat until well combined. 

  2. Add 1½ cups of the confectioners sugar to mixing bowl and beat on low until no powder remains, then increase speed for an additional 3 minutes.  

  3. Lightly powder work surface with confectioners sugar and knead in remaining confectioners sugar until you have achieved a soft playdoh-like consistency and the dough is no longer sticky.

  4. Shape dough into ½ inch balls and place on parchment paper. Flatten with bottom of decorative glass for this vintage look, or flatten with fork to create a crosshatch pattern.

  5. Allow to stand 1-2 hours to harden. Store in airtight containers in refrigerator.
